Description
The dedication ceremony and grand opening were held for the 220,000 square feet building on August 10, 2001. Through A&T’s University Foundation, Aggie Suites was financed with bonds approved by voters in 2000. The five wings in the residence hall are named in honor of Dr. Alvin V. Blount, Lt. Colonel Thurmon L. Deloney, Anne Graves Kornegay, Obrie Smith and the late Edward R. Zane.
