The COVID - 19 pandemic has shown the importance of mental health research being openly available to researchers, scholars, and community members alike. The openness of this work increases the use of published research, facilitates the ability to collaborate across disciplines, and enhances the overall advancement of scholarship. Dr. Taehee Kim will discuss her experiences with open access publishing and the impact of making research freely available in the field of mental health.
