Abstract
The idea of this research is looking into the relationship Christianity, Islam, and Judaism have with the institution of white supremacy. This topic matters because it examines how religion has been used as both a tool of oppression and resistance. It also addresses rhetoric that may be harmful to marginalized groups. This study is conducted under historical, textual analysis, and empirical data. Looking at holy book texts, listening to sermons, and surveying individuals on their personal beliefs regarding racial hierarchies, gender roles, and stance on LGBTQ identities. Studies interpret the ever-changing structure of white supremacy by adopting minority communities to mobilize right wing politics, some religious affiliates used their holy books to justify the enslavement of black Africans, anti-queer rhetoric is popular in religious circles, and set patriarchy as the norm and optimal functionality of society. However, religiosity has been used to uplift members of marginalized communities. Exploring the relationship between Christianity, Islam, and Judaism and systems associated with White supremacy highlights the complex role religion plays in shaping social power, demonstrating how these traditions have both reinforced oppressive hierarchies and inspired resistance among marginalized communities.
