Course Description
This course provides an introduction to patient-centered nursing care for individuals and families experiencing acute and chronic mental health needs across the life span. In the clinical portion of the course, the students will learn to work within interprofessional teams and employ evidence-based practice, technology, and informatics to provide quality patient-centered care and implement a therapeutic plan of care based on patient needs.
