Abstract
The objective of the present study is to compare the challenges that teachers face in education to the challenges employees face in business and industry. It is essential to understand the limitations that teachers and employees face on a daily basis when implementing technology in their work environments especially since technology often results in rapid changes in all work environments. This study is a qualitative study of five teachers in education and five IT employees in the business and industry sector. Male and female participants were selected based on a list of characteristics such as being between the ages of 25-40, working full-time, with at least a bachelor's degree, and with more than five years of experience. The teachers' and employees' views and thoughts about implementing technology in their work environments were collected using interviews and questionnaires.
