Abstract
This case study will provide the ideas of why it is important for a company to become and sustain LEED certification through the interviews of project staff from LEED projects, research from the internet and LEED projects specifications. LEED is the acronym for Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design, which is very popular in this day and age. In order to acquire this certification, there are four main steps that will qualify the company. The only aspect of doing this is the money and environmental protection. The issue is that more and more every day companies are deciding not to be a part of this community. The study will highlight the sustainability practices done on The Proximity Hotel.
