Abstract
Quantum Computing is an emerging field of research that leverages quantum mechanical properties to solve unique, computationally complex problems. In this poster, I am presenting the quantum Fourier transform and its relevance to Quantum Computing. The quantum Fourier transform is a quantum variant of the classical Fourier transform that operates over the amplitudes of a wavefunction. By encoding data using qubit states in configured bases, the quantum Fourier transform can convert between the computational basis and the Fourier basis. This enables greater flexibility in data encoding and computation.
