This collection includes surviving print commencement bulletins from the University Archives and Special Collections. They were acquired from the Office of the Registrar and donations from university faculty and staff.
Summer Convocation programs from the 1930s to the 1950s are also included as many graduates of A&T received their degrees at these ceremonies.

The commencement address was given by Major Lennox Polk McLendon who was president of the North Carolina Bar Association, and co founder of what is now the Brooks, Pierce, McLendon, Humphrey & Leonard, LLP. McLendon was also a trustee at A&T.
