Abstract
Chronic disability among women of color is growing phenomenon. In the past, disability issues regarding women were not viewed as paramount. However, a growing body of research in the area of chronic disability and women of color is providing a roadmap as to how we provide services to this unique population. This manuscript will further the discussion of disability and the issues women of color face who have chronic disabilities. Furthermore, implications for rehabilitation professionals and service options are also included.
