Final Poster Board Project, JOMC 490:Independent Study in Journalism and Mass Communication
The main objective of this research was to find the history behind the vast disparities between black medical schools and PWI medical schools while also examining the lack of diversity and representation of the black demographic within the medical field. Then, determining the factors in which this negatively affects the mental health of the black community and creates an even more strained relationship between the two. Using other studies to provide further evidence and give a clearer picture of this issue as a whole.
